Want to start Pride weekend with a bang? Once you’ve checked in, head to Friday night's Big Drag Bingo Bonanza at Town Field, the official warm-up to Pride weekend. Hosted by the fabulous Miss Penny and Dame Ida, expect big laughs, dazzling drag performances, high-energy entertainment and bingo games with plenty of prizes up for grabs!

With the parade departing from Duke Street at 11.15am, there's lots of time to fuel up before joining the celebrations. Close by you'll find plenty of local foodie spots, including The Glass Strawberry, serving breakfast classics, lighter brunch options and sweet treats, with their famous pancakes always a firm customer favourite. Just around the corner, Banco offers a stylish setting and a tempting selection of breakfast and brunch favourites, from smashed avo toast and hearty breakfasts to loaded sandwiches and English muffins. Just 10 minutes by car from the city centre, Brix Coffee & Co makes for the perfect pre-Pride pit stop. A proud supporter of Doncaster Pride through their fundraising efforts, Brix serves quality coffee alongside delicious breakfast favourites, with everything from breakfast tacos to homemade granola bowls. And if you're looking for the ultimate pick-me-up before the big event, their Big Brix Breakfast is guaranteed to keep you fuelled from the parade right through to the afterparty. Expect live music, DJs and drag performances across two stages, alongside cabaret, funfair rides, Pride markets and family-friendly activities, with something for everyone to enjoy. It doesn’t matter whether you're celebrating with friends, family, your partner or flying solo, you’ll be part of a day filled with colour, community, and self-expression. Whatever your story, everyone is welcome. Show your Pride!
