For a number of years, Doncaster Pride has proudly been a free event, and we are incredibly grateful for the support that has allowed us to maintain this. However, due to the event's growth and the increasing costs of running an event of this scale, we have made the difficult decision to introduce a small charge for this year's Doncaster Pride. We understand this may be disappointing for some, and this is not a decision we have taken lightly. As a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers, our goal is to ensure we can continue to deliver an event that meets the high standards and size that you’ve come to love. A lot of careful thought and discussion has gone into this, and we hope you can understand and support us as we navigate this new territory. The modest ticket charge will help us continue to grow the event, offering 3 stages, a variety of acts, and prioritising the safety of all our visitors. We are committed to keeping Doncaster Pride as accessible as possible and will continue to fundraise and secure sponsorship to minimise costs for our attendees.
Your standard ticket will give you entry to Doncaster Pride on Saturday 9th August for a full day of entertainment including the main stage, the huge new City Stage and the Cabaret Marquee. The only restricted space is the VIP area.
Children 13 years and younger will not be charged, but they do need a ticket to enter. A free ticket for children can be purchased via the ticketing link. Children 13 years and younger will need to be accompanied by an adult of 18 years or older to enter the event.
This year we are not offering concessions for carers/companions due to a low ticketing price being offered. We feel this is fair amount to still be accessible for all patrons.
You can purchase tickets through our ticketing provider Skiddle. This will then provide a QR code that will be scanned for entry on the day of the event.
Tickets are non-refundable and therefore we unfortunately will not be providing any refunds at this time.
Yes, but when you leave, please remember to ask our staff on the gate to give you a pass to come back in and we'll be glad to welcome you back.  Please DO NOT forget to ask as you leave though .
Your VIP ticket will give you entry to the Pride Village. On arrival you'll be given your exclusive commemorative Doncaster Pride 25 Festival Wristband and then you're free to come and go as you please ALL DAY! In the Village you'll have access to a private (pay) bar, luxury flushing toilets, a partially covered space to shelter from the sun (or rain!) and access to a seating area with picnic benches. You'll have a special front of stage viewing area so you can get up close to the acts.
This year we have placed selected catering vans close to the Pride Village, so you won't have far to walk to a selection of great food.
The main event takes place on Saturday 9th August 2025 at Town Field.
YES, we have a family and Children Zone as well as Youth Pride. We encourage everyone to come to pride.
Town Field is a residential area, there is no parking permitted in the streets around the park. Town Moor Avenue, Thorne Road and surrounding street parking will be prohibited.

No, you will not be able to bring ANY of your own alcohol to Pride.

We’ve tried for years and years to keep the event open to bringing your own. We’ve asked you not to bring glass, to limit the amount of alcohol, to clear up your rubbish…. Sadly, many of you haven’t taken notice. These aren’t our rules, but we relied on you to do these things.

We are now left with no option but to completely ban ALL alcohol coming into the site. This decision is a condition of our license to operate Pride. So simply put, we broke the conditions, so they got tougher.

There is nothing we can do – our license conditions mean we must do this or there will be no pride, it’s that simple.

What you can bring is 1 500ml SEALED PLASTIC BOTTLE of water or 1 500ml SEALED PLASTIC BOTTLE of soft drink per person anything else will be confiscated and anyone found inside the site with their own alcohol, or any glass may be evicted from the event.

Please don’t be the one to spoil it for everyone else…. If we break the rules the future of Pride is at risk.
Yes, you can bring in food but please see the section re drinks above and please clean up your mess!
Yes, as always bars and food outlets throughout.

There will be additional bars and separate soft drink and water stations throughout the site.

When you purchase a Doncaster Pride reusable souvenir cup for £2 the cost of each drink will be reduced - pick yours up on your way into the Pride site.

There will be a range of food outlets with something for all tastes including some cheaper snack options.
Absolutely! And we encourage you to, the same discounts on each drink will still apply.

Yes… 2025 Parade will be AMAZING!

All the information regarding the parade can be found at:

www.doncasterpride.co.uk/parade-of-unity
We monitor carefully in advance; we plan for whatever we can. We know the safe limits for wind and wet and we pray for a sunny day.

We will put in place whatever measures we need to to protect the site, equipment, audience… but if it rains, we may just get a rainbow!

Please avoid umbrellas and bring a £1 poncho but we’ve partied in the rain many times and the show will go on
Our stages are full for 2025.
Doncaster Pride has taken place in August since its inception in 2007.
There are in excess of 200 local prides in the UK; it would be impossible for all these events to take place in one month of the year. Pride organisers deliver their events throughout the year, predominantly between May and September.
